Carlos Dwayne Stinnett Sr., 38, formerly of 728 River Creek Road, died Nov. 21, 1995, in Raleigh, N.C.
Mr. Stinnett, a native of Chesapeake, was the son of Ruth Eden Stinnett and the late Walter G. Stinnett Sr. He was a manager at Pizzagalli Construction, and a member of Grace Episcopal Church. He was a 1975 graduate of Indian River High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Mary H. Stinnett of Garner, N.C.; one daughter, Megan Danille Stinnett of the home; one son, Carlos Dwayne Stinnett of Virginia Beach; one stepson, Anthony J. Harrison of Garner; three sisters, Shelia S. Norfus and Michelle D. Stinnett of Chesapeake, Renee S. Valentine of Petersburg, Va.; one brother, Walter G. Stinnett Jr. of Norfolk; and aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Saturday at Chapel Hill Baptist Church, Warrenton, N.C. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will be at 728 River Creek Road. A memorial service will be conducted at noon Monday in Grace Episcopal Church by the Rev. Father Harold J. Cobb.
