Bertha Jacobs Robinson, 81, of the 100 block of Westmont Ave., died Nov. 23, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Robinson was a native of Columbus County, N.C., and a resident of Tidewater since 1937. She was the widow of Walter Gray Robinson, and was a member of Talbot Park Baptist Church and the Lydia Bible Class in Norfolk. Mrs. Robinson was a member of Norfolk Senior Center, NAARP.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Judith R. Vernon of Norfolk; three sons, Walter G. Robinson II of Norfolk, Donnie Ray Robinson of Richmond, Va., George T. Robinson of Newport News; two brothers, Berry D. Jacobs of Virginia Beach, George L. Jacobs of Orlando, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A chapel service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, 1995, at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, by the Rev. Keith Martin. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home today from 6:45 to 8 p.m. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, will be handling the arrangements.
