PEDRO P. VAZQUEZ

Pedro Pablo Vazquez, 59, of the 1500 block of Modoc Ave., died Nov. 22, 1995.

Retired Senior Chief Petty Officer Vazquez, a native of Colon, Matanzas Providence, Cuba, served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the Spanish American Club, and D.A.V. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Isela Vazquez; one daughter, Gisele Vazquez Falls and her husband, Gregory L., of Virginia Beach; three sons, Pedro P. Vazquez Jr. and his wife, Diana, of Virginia Beach, Paul F. Vazquez and his wife, Tina C., of Norfolk, and 1st Lt. John F. Vazquez, USMC, of San Diego, Calif.; his parents, Amalia Via Vazquez and Juan Francisco Vazquez, both of Havana, Cuba; two brothers, Juan F. Vazquez of Seymour, Conn., and Hugo Ruben Vazquez of Havana, Cuba; three grandchildren, Sarah Michelle, Megan Christina and Thomas John.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated today at 7:30 p.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic Church by Father Lou Ruoff. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends at the church from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Kidney Foundation. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, in charge.
