FANNIE M. IRVING

Fannie Mae Melson Irving, 65, died Nov. 24, 1995, at Northampton-Accomack Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Irving, the widow of James Cabell Irving Jr., was a native of Accomack County, Va. She was the daughter of the late Lynwood L. and Ethel Lingo Melson. She was a former member of the Victory Tabernacle Baptist Church, Norfolk, and she attended Pungoteague United Methodist Church and Maranatha Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Theresa S. Irving of Chesapeake; two sons, James C. Irving III and Michael L. Irving, both of Chesapeake; one sister, Myrtle M. Ward of Wardtown, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Belle Haven Cemetery by the Rev. Joe Strock. Doughty Funeral Home, Exmore, Va., is in charge. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Exmore Fire Company, Exmore, 23350.
