MADELINE E. WATTS

Madeline E. Watts, 79, of the 6500 of Portsmouth Blvd., died Nov. 24, 1995, in Portsmouth General Hospital.

Mrs. Watts, the widow of Bruce M. Watts Sr., was a homemaker. She was a native of Portsmouth. She was a member of New St. Thomas Baptist Church, and a member of the Senior Choir, Maids and Matrons, and a former organist of the church.

Survivors include three daughters, Minnie L. Scott, Iris W. Green and Olga M. Watts; four sons, Bruce M. Watts, Keith O. Watts, Ashley L. Watts and Lemuel M. Watts; three daughters-in-law, Janette J. Watts, Marion B. Watts and Rachel J. Watts; two sons-in-law, Rev. John L. Scott and Darryl K. Green; five grandsons; and one granddaughter.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in New St. Thomas Baptist Church by the Rev. Johnnie Drake. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. The family will be at the residence. The body will be placed in the church at noon. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
