Elizabeth Lee Schmincke, 90, died Nov. 24, 1995.
She retired in 1975 as a tax appraiser with the Internal Revenue Service. She was a native of Newark, N.J., and a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church, Virginia Beach. She was also a member of Business and Professional Women's Club, Annapolis, Md., AARP, Virginia Beach, and secretary for the Kempsville Senior Citizens Club, volunteer for the Virginia Employment Commission in Virginia Beach, and she was a member of St. Margaret, Westminister Parish in Annapolis for 50 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Carole L. Knox of Virginia Beach; one sister, Ada McGinnis of Willimantic, Conn.; one brother, Errol McGinnis of Cinnaminson, N.J.; one grandson, Bryan Pattison of Rock Hill, S.C.; and many nieces and nephews.
The body will be sent from Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, to Taylor Funeral Chapel, Annapolis, for funeral service and burial. The family will be at Smith and Williams Funeral Home from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach SPCA, 3040 Holland Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23456.
