Robert Burns Hewitt, 80, died Nov. 23, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
He was a native of Portsmouth and is survived by a sister, Henrietta Spattifor of Portsmouth; and two nieces, Betty Ann Hudson of Portsmouth, and Mary Elizabeth Jackson of Montana.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Gene V. Primm. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
