Allen Victor Wyatt Sr., 67, of the 5100 block of Langston Road, died Nov. 24, 1995, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
The son of the late Alonzo P. Wyatt Sr. and Lula M. Wyatt, Mr. Wyatt was a native of Norfolk, and had been a resident of Virginia Beach since 1958. He was a member of Kempsville Masonic Lodge (NU)196, A.F.& A.M., currently serving as worshipful master. Mr. Wyatt retired after 31 years with Exxon Company, U.S.A.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Adean W. Wyatt; a son, Allen Victor Wyatt Jr., and his wife, Mitzie L. Wyatt; a grandson, Brian Christopher Wyatt; and a sister, Vivian Cottrell, all of Virginia Beach. He is also survived by two brothers, William M. Wyatt of Baltimore, Md., and Kenneth G. Wyatt Sr. of Virginia Beach. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Terri Kathryn Wyatt in 1971.
The funeral with Masonic rites will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27, 1995, in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. Burial with Order of Eastern Star rites will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
