MARCEL T. BRANCHE

Marcel Thomas Branche, 67, of the 100 block of Fort Benjamin Road, and formerly of Portsmouth, died Nov. 20, 1995, in Morehead City, N.C.

Mr. Branche, a native of Cape Vincent, N.Y., was retired from the U.S. Navy after 22 years of service. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association, Branch (NU)40, Chesapeake, and the American Legion, Amherst, Ohio.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby G. Branche; one daughter, Marcy Branche Ellis of Morehead City; three sons, Jon Thomas Branche and Michael F. Branche, both of Chesapeake, and Lewis V. Branche II of Newport; three sisters, Pat Krause of Euless, Texas, Jeanne Thompson of Cape Vincent, and Mary Lou Cornaire of Bath, N.Y.; one brother, Father John S. Branche of Deerfield, Mass.; and four grandchildren.

A memorial graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. George Mullinax. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association. Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel, is in charge.
