LOIS B. PRICE

Lois Bland Price, 76, of the 3300 block of Rokeby Ave., went to be with her Lord, Nov. 24, 1995, from a Chesapeake hospital.

She was a native of Norfolk and a member of Indian River Baptist Church. She was a Sunday school teacher for 52 years and was a member of Indian River Senior Citizens Club.

She is survived by her husband, Norman M. Price; daughter, Shirley M. Wirt of Chesapeake; three sisters, Louise B. Phillips of Morven, N.C., Jessie May Nuzzo of Norfolk and Erlene Pallister-Young of New Mexico; brother, William H. Bland Jr. of Chesapeake; two grandchildren, Jodie Asbell and Carla Lee Faith Beasley; and two great-grandchildren, Kyle Asbell and Justin Beasley.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday by the Rev. Robert E. Jordan, the Rev. Ted Bashford and the Rev. John Dearing, in Indian River Baptist Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m., and also at 1329 Oleander Ave., Chesapeake, at other times.
