Robert L. Bryan
SUFFOLK - Robert Lawrence Bryan, 61, of the 2700 block of Jackson Road, died Nov. 23, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Bryan was a customer service representative of United Airlines for 39 years. He was a native of Lumberton, N.C., and a member of Southside Baptist Church. Mr. Bryan was a past member of Indian River Baptist Church, where he was a former deacon. He was a veteran of both the Army and the Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra D. Bryan; one daughter, Chenoa Bryan of Hagerstown, Md.; two sons, Yogi Bryan of Chesapeake and Michael Bryan of Virginia Beach; his parents, Ernestine Bryan and Robert Bryan, both of Norfolk; five sisters, Susan Croswell and Nancy Hunt, both of Norfolk, Jean Thigpen of Chesapeake, and Trisha Rohr and Linda Scott, both of Norfolk; one brother, Bud Bryan of Singapore; and one grandson, Bradley Bostic. He was the best husband and daddy in the world.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by the Rev. Stewart McCarter. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
