Miriam L. Chitty
NORFOLK - Miriam Litchfield Chitty, 88, formerly of the 2700 block of Grandy Ave., Norfolk, died Nov. 24, 1995, in Hampton.
She was a native of Knotts Island, N.C., and was the widow of Robert S. Chitty Sr. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Norfolk.
She is survived by her son, Edward M. Chitty of Hampton; two grandsons, E. Marshall Chitty and Robert Michaels; granddaughter, Mary Kaye Childress; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
