ALMA E. HARRIS

Alma Ellis ``Susie'' Harris, 90, of the 1400 block of Lake Forest Drive, died Nov. 24, 1995, in Maryview Hospital.

She was retired from the Civil Service Commission, where she worked for 55 years. She was a native of Portsmouth and was the widow of William Harris. She was a member of Celestial Baptist Church and was formerly a member of First Baptist Church Deanwood, Washington, D.C.

She is survived by her sister, Sophia F. Cade; eight nieces; nine nephews; and several cousins and other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Leon J. Boone in Celestial Baptist Church. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. The body will be placed in church at 10 a.m. The family will be at 1301 Mt. Vernon Ave. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
