WILLIAM M. WILLIAMS

William McAdoo ``Mack'' Williams, 81, of the 900 block of N.C. 45 North, died Nov. 25, 1995 in Chowan Hospital Skilled Care Facility.

A native of Bertie County, He was the son of the late William Thomas and Fannie Miller Williams and the husband of Mrs. Mildred Alexander Williams. Mr. Williams was a retired logging contractor and a member of the Riverside Baptist Church.

Surviving other than his wife is a daughter, Peggy Williams Cobb of Suffolk; a son, Billy Williams of Suffolk; two brothers, Douglas Williams of Merry Hill, and Glenn Williams of Knightdale, N.C.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Riverside Baptist Church with burial following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Evans Funeral Home in Edenton today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and at other times at the residence. Memorials may be made to the Roanoke-Chowan Hospice, P.O. Box 272, Ahoskie, N.C., 27910, or to the Riverside Baptist Church, 1206 N.C. 45 North, Merry Hill, N.C. 27957.
