David Brian Casey Sr., 51, of Wells Parkway, Ocean View, died in his home on Nov. 24, 1995.
A native of Richmond, he graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1968. He began his career as a sales associate for Virginia Tractor and continued to work for several other heavy equipment companies in Virginia. At the time of his death, he was self-employed. Mr. Casey was an avid water sportsman and a former National Power Boat Champion.
He is survived by his wife, Jane F. Casey; son, David Brian Casey Jr. of Richmond; his parents, Hazel and Hurley Casey of Dutton, Va.; brother, Paul E. Casey of Richmond; and sister, Carolyn Willis of Dumfries, Va.
A memorial service will be held in Mathews Baptist Church in Hudgins, Va., on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Edward Inabinet officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice.
