Keturah Myrick Marshall died Nov. 25, 1995.
She was a native of Norfolk, and moved to Newport News in 1932 when she married her late husband, John Marshall, a local attorney. She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, where she was very active in her circle, her Bible study group, and served as president of the Women of the Church. She was a charter member and past president of the Huntington Garden Club and a graduate of William and Mary. She was also a member of the Riverside Auxiliary and the D.A.R.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Charles Johnson; a son, John ``Buck'' Marshall Jr., all of Newport News; sister, Roberta M. Hall of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren, Cynthia Marshall Jordan, Keturah Johnson-Zobrist, Allison Marshall, Keith A. Johnson and John Marshall III; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Peninsula Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
