Howard Lee Story, 63, of 28388 Mt. Horeb Road, died Nov. 25, 1995, in Southampton Memorial Hosptial.
He was a lifelong resident of Southampton County and the son of the late Allen Henry and Lacy S. Story. Mr. Story was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was a retired carpenter with Shirley Construction Company. He was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church and the Handsom Hunt Club.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Wilson Story; two sons, Carroll A. Story and his wife, Cindy and Johnnie R. Story and his wife, Mary; sister, Helen Story; three brothers, John B. Story, Frank Story, and Ernest Story; three grandchildren, Kendall Ashton Story, Zachary Aaron Story and Jessica Avery Story, all of Franklin.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Mt. Horeb Cemetery by the Rev. Dr. Reginald Warren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Wright Funeral Home, and suggests memorials be made to Sycamore Baptist Church, 32018 Sycamore Church Road, Franklin, Va. 23851.
