Annie Laura Shufflebarger Leeper, 85, died Nov. 25, 1995.
Mrs. Leeper was the widow of George William Leeper and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Richmond. She was retired as an instructor from Medical College of Virginia-Virginia Commonwealth University. She was a 1931 graduate of Virginia Polytechnical Institute, where she received her B.S. degree in chemistry.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Hays Leeper Kiefner and her husband Richard Frank Kiefner Jr. of Norfolk; a sister, Mildred Gaucher of Roanoke; a grandson, Richard Frank Kiefner III and a granddaughter, Katherine Hays Kiefner, both of Norfolk; two nephews and one niece.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Presbyterian Church, Richmond, by Dr. John Trotti. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing, Ohio, with Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio, in charge. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to MCV-VCU Women's Auxiliary or VPI Alumni Association. Information was supplied by Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel.
