Hazel Simpson Mason, 99, of the 400 block of Florida Ave., a homemaker, died Nov. 25, 1995, in Portsmouth.
Mrs. Mason was born in Baltimore and was the widow of Lee Arnold Mason. She was a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ellen Culpepper of Portsmouth; a son, Gordon Lee Mason of Sun City, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Broad Street United Methodist Church by the Rev. Katheryn Pigg and the Rev. Milford Rollins. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will be at Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Broad Street United Methodist Church.
