Richard M. Jones, of the 2600 block of Cayce Drive, died Nov. 23, 1995.
Mr. Jones was born in Moyock, N.C., and was the widower of Bessie Jones. He was retired from Northern & Southern Railroad after 59 years and was a former member of Christian Home Baptist Church in Moyock, N.C.
Survivors include a daughter, Jannie Walston of Newark, N.J.; three sisters, Leola Jones of Chesapeake, Charlotte Jones of Moyock, N.C., and Lucille Brumsey of Currituck, N.C.; a brother, Floyd Jones of Moyock, N.C.; six grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Christian Home Baptist Church, Moyock, by the Rev. George Powell. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Garden. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
