Fred D. Dreier, 71, died Nov. 26, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mr. Dreier, an A.S.T.O., was retired from Conrail Consolidated Railroad. He was a native of Pittsburgh, Pa., and served in the Army during World War II.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Erma J. Dreier; one daughter, Diane Louise Greer, and her husband, Jim, of Norfolk; one son, Donald Frederick Dreier, and his wife, Margaret of Pittsburgh; one sister, Melva Hood of Gibsonia, Pa.; one brother, Howard C. Dreier, and his wife, Norma of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren, Jennifer, David and Alison Dreier of Pittsburgh, and Jaime and Nicole Greer of Norfolk.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Christ United Methodist Church, 1601 E. Bayview Blvd., by the Rev. Frances T. Moody. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
