WILLIAM D. ROGERS JR.

William D. ``Bill'' Rogers Jr., 67, died Monday, Nov. 27, 1995, in Roanoke, Va.

He was retired from the U.S. Navy with 22 years of service and retired from the civil service with 22 years of service. He was a Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite and Khedive Temple.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Patricia ``Pat'' Rogers; two sons, William David Rogers III and Russell Wayne Rogers, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.; five stepchildren, Linda Grossman of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Beth Taylor of Rhinelander, Wis., Daniel Arnold of Dorchester, Neb., James Arnold of Portsmouth, David Arnold of Lincoln, Neb.; his mother, Myrtle B. Rogers of Birmingham, Ala.; his sister, Myrtle Armfield; three brothers, D.C. Rogers of Hueytown, Ala., Loel Rogers of Birmingham, and Robert Rogers of Ashville, N.C. He was predeceased by his father, William D. Rogers Sr.; one brother, James ``Ed'' Rogers; one sister, Patricia Chappell.

A memorial service will be in Forestdale, Ala. with interment in Branchville Cemetery, Birmingham.
