Marjorie Critcher Baines, 67, of the 2800 block of East Point Drive, died Nov. 27, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Baines was born in Oxford, N.C., and was the widow of Cecil Morris Baines.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn A. Shearin of Portsmouth; her son, Willie Shearin and his wife, Ann, of Portsmouth; five sisters, Chris Hamrick, Edith Aycock and Edna Dickens, all of North Carolina, Catherine Armstrong and Peggy Clark, both of Portsmouth; two brothers, Bobby Critcher of North Carolina and Jack Critcher of Portsmouth; three grandchildren, Jamie Shearin, Ashley Shearin and Misty Shearin, all of Portsmouth; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted Wednesday at noon by the Rev. Dr. Albert A. Peverall Jr. in Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the residence, 2856 East Point Drive, Chesapeake.
