Mary M. Hemmings, 69, of Melbourne, a retired registered nurse, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 1995 at Holmes Regional.
Mrs. Hemmings was born in Norfolk. She went to Brevard County in 1976 from Maryland. She was a former owner of Gay's Toy Store and graduate of University of Virginia Nursing.
She was predeceased by her husband, Haven H. Hemmings and a grandson, Haven H. Hemmings III.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Shook of Jarrettsville, Md.; sons, Haven Hemmings Jr. of Cocoa, Fla., Mallory Hemmings of Annapolis, Md., Tom Hemmings of Linthicum, Md., Paul Hemmings of Pasadena, Md.; sister, Elizabeth Schultz of Palisverde, Calif.; and 11 grandchildren.
Calling hours are 2 to 3 p.m. today at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home with service following at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Brevard Memorial Park.
