Helen Kuehnert Joynt, 88, of the 3100 block of Shore Drive, died Nov. 27, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Joynt was born in McDonald, Pa., and was the widow of Hugh M. Joynt. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Norfolk since 1936 where she served as an elder. She also served on the board of Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.
Survivors include her daughter, Beatrice Blasdell of Vienna, Va.; two sons, Richard G. Joynt and Robert M. Joynt, both of Richmond; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Westminster Canterbury. Burial will be private at a later date. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel in charge. In lieu of floral arrangements, memorial donations may be made to CHKD, Norfolk, or to Westminster Canterbury's Fellowship Fund.
