James E. Goodman Sr., 77, of the 2000 block of West York St., died Nov. 24, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Goodman, the widower of Ruth Goodman, was a native of Norfolk. He was a member of the Robert's ``Park Villa'' Senior Citizen Club.
Survivors include three daughters, Janice Goodman and Shirley Freeman, both of Norfolk, Zelma Hall of Philadelphia; one son, James Goodman Jr. of Virginia Beach; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one son-in-law, George Hall of Philadelphia; one sister-in-law, Elizebeth Hodnett of Virginia Beach; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Hale Funeral Home Chapel, by Elder Alfa Wright. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. He was a former resident of Robert Villa Park. Family and friends will assemble at 2901 Liberia Drive at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday for the funeral procession to the funeral home.
