Sharlene L. Jones, of the 900 block of Sugar Tree Court, died Nov. 25, 1995.
Mrs. Jones, a native of Princess Anne County, was a member of Mount Bethel Baptist Church, Virginia Beach. She was on the Usher Board and Nurses Unite.
Survivors include her husband, William T. Jones; a daughter, Sandra Wells of Chesapeake; a foster daughter, Linda Tabron of Virginia Beach; a stepdaughter, Catherine Lewis of Virginia Beach; three sons, Sylvester Mayfield of Norfolk, Oliver Mayfield of Virginia Beach and Norris Jones of Chesapeake; two sisters, Margaret Evans of New York and Martha Gilchrist of Virginia Beach; a brother, Frederick Kettrell of Mt. Vernon, N.Y.; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Mount Bethel Baptist Church by the Rev. A.D. Moore. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, in charge.
