Petra Laura Vetro, of the 1900 block of South Military Highway, died Nov. 20, 1995.
Widow Vetro was the beloved wife of Joseph James Vetro for 36 years. She was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and St. Matthews Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Iris D. Smutz of Palmdale, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many friends. She will be dearly missed.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church by Father Paschal Kneip. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Arlington National Cemetery. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, in charge. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Gregory Catholic Church or St. Matthews Catholic Church.
