Irene Theresa Hagaman, 83, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Nov. 26, 1995.
She was a native of Spring Valley, Ill. She fulfilled her primary purpose in life by bequeathing a legacy of generations of godly children. Her continual encouragement remains an everlasting blessing.
She is survived by her godly husband, Jim; her son and his wife, Lloyd and Clemae Smith of Suffolk; and grandsons, Allen and Brian.
A visitation will be held at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, on Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to a charity of one's choice.
