Joe Edward Petts, 61, of the 3700 block of Santos St., died Nov. 27, 1995.
Mr. Petts, a retired contractor, was self-employed. He was a native of Eagle Rock, Va., and a member of Eagle Rock Baptist Church. He was also a member of Norfolk Moose Lodge (NU)39 and the Legionnaires. He was an Army veteran of the 82nd Airborne.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Joyce M. Petts; a daughter, Windy Petts Adams of Norfolk; a son, Jeffrey C. Petts and his wife, Tina, of Norfolk; three sisters, Virginia Stinnett of Lynchburg, Va., Patricia Miller and Frances Phillips, both of Seminole, Fla.
The funeral will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by Dr. John P. Mason. Burial will be private and at a later date. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
