Louise S. Halstead, 85, of the 4800 block of Portsmouth Blvd., died Monday, Nov. 27, 1995.
She was the owner of Halstead Ranch, and had retired from Stylecrest Beauty Salon. She was an active member of Jolliff Methodist Church, serving in a number of positions over the past 50 years.
Mrs. Halstead was the widow of Gaston A. ``Pop'' Halstead. She is survived by sons, John A. Halstead and William A. Halstead; a sister and a brother. She had 10 grandchildren, as well as great-grandchildren, and other nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the building fund of Jolliff Methodist Church. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
