MARY J. WADE

Mary Joyner Wade, 94, died Nov. 28, 1995, in the East Pavilion, Franklin.

She was a native of Burdette, Va., but spent most of her adult life in Joyner, where she taught in the Joyner Elementary School. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, Yale, Va., where she taught the primary class for 50 years. She was the widow of Ashby Wade.

Survivors include two nieces, Mary Spivey Carter of Franklin and Margaret Brittingham Lovig of Santa Barbara, Calif.; and one nephew, Edwin J. Joyner of Burdette.

The funeral will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in the Antioch Baptist Chruch. The burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Wade will be taken to the church at 2 p.m. Thursday where the family will greet friends. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, is in charge.
