Pearl Jones Williams, 92, of the 2600 block of Pine Forest Lane, died Monday, Nov. 27, 1995, in a Chesapeake hospital.
Mrs. Williams was born in Smithfield, Va., and was the daughter of the late John Samuel and Nanie Gwatney Pond. She was the widow of Clinton Williams and was predeceased by two sons, James H. Jones and Allen G. Jones.
Survivors include her three sons, Floyd W. Jones of Natural Bridge, Va., Leroy Jones of Suffolk, and Clyde R. Jones of Chesapeake; two stepsons, Ray Williams of Norfolk and Wilton Williams of Dayton, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, by the Rev. Tim Piland of Nansemond River Baptist Church. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
