Breaking and entering, 1600 block Nansemond Parkway, Nov. 5, someone entered a residence by pushing open the rear door. Removed were one Panasonic 19-inch color TV, one Pansonic VCR, one JVC radio with double cassette and one CD player.
Grand larceny, 100 block Rockland Terrace and 200 block Holbrook Arch, Nov. 7, five rolls of tan carpeting, and interior doors were removed from two homes that were under construction.
Hit and run, 5200 block Whaleyville Blvd., Nov. 8, someone driving a light colored Oldsmobile forced another vehicle off the road.

Breaking and entering, 100 block Clay St., Nov. 3, someone entered a house by pulling open a screen door. A black ceramic piggy bank containing about $60 was removed.
Grand larceny, 900 block North Main St., Nov. 3, someone removed a VCR, two upright cordless phones, and a 32-watt AM/FM CD car stereo from a business.
Breaking and entering, 800 block Gittings St., Nov. 3, someone entered a residence and removed a Christopher Newport College class ring, a sapphire and diamond ring, a white sapphire, a diamond sapphire dinner ring, a garnet and diamond ring and a jade ring.
Breaking and entering, 400 block Linden Lane, Nov. 6, someone tried to enter a house through a rear window.
Enbezzlement, 1400 block Holland Road, Nov. 8, someone reports that $450 in U.S. currency is missing, along with a store drop bag.

Breaking and entering, 1100 block Nansemond Parkway, Nov. 5, someone entered a residence and removed a ``Dances With Wolves'' CD, a cellular telepone, a silver Timex watch and a black, blue and white Pro-Line jacket with a Carolina Panthers emblem.
Petty larceny, 1300 block Portsmouth Blvd., Nov. 6, someone removed a Virginia state inspection sticker from a vehicle.
