Haywood Scott ``Scotty'' Silcox Jr., 14, of the 2900 block of Durbin Place, died Nov. 25, 1995.
He was a student at Plaza Middle School and he was a Baptist. He was a native of Norfolk.
He is survived by his parents, Eloise Silcox and Scott Silcox Sr.; sister, Rachel Michelle Silcox of the home; brother, Robert James Silcox; maternal grandmother, Marie C. Merkle of Maryland; paternal grandparents, Robert L. and Janice F. Silcox of Virginia Beach; and paternal great-grandmother, Louise Smith of Virginia Beach. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James E. Merkle of Maryland.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Rob Pittman III in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel. Burial is in London Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
