Winfred Grey Mackey, 93, of the 2200 block of Wakeforest St., died Nov. 28, 1995, in her home.
Mrs. Mackey was a native of Norfolk. She graduated from the college of William and Mary in 1923. She was a Hostess in Colonial Williamsburg for 35 years. She was a member of St. Bede Catholic Church in Williamsburg. Mrs. Mackey was preceeded in death by her husband, Irish Mackey.
She is survived by her two sons, James O. Mackey, Jr. of Virginia Beach, Robert Grey Mackey of Boston, Mass.; and a grandson, Carl Mackey of Virginia Beach.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Bede Catholic Church in Williamsburg, Va., by Father Thomas Magri. Burial will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Williamsburg. There will be a Christian Wake Service this evening at 8 p.m. in the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, by Father Dwight Schrader.
