Alma Lucille Brinson, 55, of the 2000 block of Walkers Road, Surry County, died Nov. 27, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
She was a native of Vance County, N.C.
She is survived by her husband, Frank P. Brinson; three daughters, Charlene Butler of Ivor, Va., Thelma Reynolds of Suffolk, Deborah Jean Moore of Portsmouth; son, Charles Butler of Elberon; stepdaughter, Catherine Brickhouse of Currituck County, N.C., stepson, Frank Brinson of Richmond; three sisters, Mattie Pearl Wilkins of Rocky Mount, N.C., Ada White of Henderson, N.C., Shirley Allgood of Henderson; six brothers, Willard and Junie Perdue, both of Ontario, Canada, Albert, Kenneth, and Roy Perdue, all of Henderson and Hartwell Perdue of Chesapeake; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennetts Creek Chapel, by the Rev. T.M. Frye. Following the service, the family will be at the home of Hartwell Perdue, 4416 Peach Road, Bowers Hill. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
