Sarah Lee Hill Darden, 63, of 557 Laurel St., died Nov. 28, 1995, in Southampton Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Newsoms, Va., and was a retired paper tester for Union Camp Corp. She was a member of the Congregational Christian Church.
She is survived by two daughters Julie Rea Kennedy and Jennifer B. Padgett, both of Franklin; her mother, Sarah Vaughan Hill of Franklin; two sisters, Mary Leigh Kitchen of Norfolk and Peggy Ann Toler of Franklin; four grandchildren, Stefan Turner, Matthew Joyner, Joseph Joyner and Trevor Duke. She was predeceased by a son, Russell Lee Britt; her father, Edward Carson Hill; and a brother, Roy C. Hill.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Wright Funeral Home with Mr. Lauren Padgett and the Rev. Billy Presley. Burial will be at Southampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and other times at the home of Jennifer and LeRoy Padgett, 705 Chaucer Court, Franklin.
