Hazel L. Brethauer, 88, of the 700 block of Olivieri Lane, died Nov. 28, 1995.
She was a native of Richmond and the widow of Oscar A. Brethauer. She was a member of First Lutheran Church of Norfolk.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie Shiera of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren, Buddy Shiera, Carolyn Baxter, Darrell Shiera, Cathy Archer; and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Marshall Mauney and the Rev. Ted James in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. Burial is in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
