Martha H. Kilmon, of the 1500 block of Harmon St., died Nov. 28, 1995, in a local hospital.
She was a retired school teacher for the Virginia Beach school system. She was a native of Knoxville, Tenn., and the widow of Nuble Kilmon. Mrs. Kilmon was a member of Azalea Baptist Church where she was active in the Ruth Sunday school class. She was also a member of the Smile Club and the Virginia Education Association.
She is survived by her son, Harold L. Childs of Aurora, Colo.; daughter-in-law, Marilyn L. Childs of Sandia Park, N.M.; two sisters, Willie Ruth Geiger and Viva Lee Wild, both of Knoxville; granddaughter, Bianca L. DeLong, and grandson, Brant H. Childs; and a great-granddaughter, Chelsey DeLong.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. Jan Oberdick in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, Friday form 7 to 8 p.m.
