FORMER NORCOM ATHLETES HONORED

Five former Norcom athletes were inducted into the I.C. Norcom Hall

of Fame on Saturday. They are, from left, Leroy Forbes, tennis,

1951-55; Dwight Leon Fisher, football and baseball, 1963-64; Herman

Smith, basketball, 1963-65; Margaret Moody, basketball and tennis,

1954-57, second from right; and Andre Fields, football and track,

1982-84, at right. Robert Smith, co-founder of the Hall of Fame, is

third from the right. Portsmouth sports editor William Leffler was

inducted in a special category for his years of service to the

students in the school's athletic program. The ninth annual

induction ceremony took place during a banquet at the JEM Banquet

Facility.
