Belle Everett, 71, passed away Thursday, Nov. 30, 1995 at Riverside Hospital.
Mrs. Everett was a homemaker, expert seamstress and community supporter. She was active in the promotion of country music and a charter member of the Virginia Country Music Association. She was a member of the Williamsburg Moose and VFW Auxiliary.
Mrs. Everett is survived by her husband, R.C. Everett; four daughters, Martha Nixon of Williamsburg, Vickie Shaw of Hamden, Conn., Delores Bryant of Norge, and Nadine McHatton of Yorktown; a brother, William Barbee of Richlands, N.C.; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Williamsburg Funeral Home followed by visitation at the home of the deceased. Expressions of sympathy are requested to be sent to the Arthritis Foundation, 900 Commonwealth Place, Virginia Beach 23464.
