CITY MAN CHARGED IN SHOOTING DEATH

An 18-year-old Norfolk man was arrested Friday and charged with murder in the shooting death of Robert Peterson, police said.

Timonthy N. Taylor, of the 2300 block of Cromwell Road, was charged with murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and attempted robbery.

Peterson was shot Oct. 5 as he was getting out of his car at the 7-Eleven store in the 3200 block of Chesapeake Boulevard.

Peterson, whose last known address was in the 2700 block of Azalea Garden Road, was taken to a hospital, where he died Oct. 29.
