Lida Marie Garrett, 74, of the 1500 block of West Road, died Dec. 1, 1995, in a Chesapeake hospital.
She was a native of Roberson, N.C., and is survived by her husband, Weyman R. Garrett; three daughters, Rosa Marie Dunn of Chesapeake, Brenda H. Cooper and Pamela A. Harmon, both of Portsmouth; sister, Barbara Dutton of Fort Pierce, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Riverside Cemetery, Norfolk, by the Rev. Tom Potter. The family will be at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, today from 7 to 8 p.m. and other times at 9 Aylwin Road, Portsmouth.
