ELMER LEE WHITE

Elmer Lee ``Bubba'' White, a native of Virginia Beach, changed his address from the 3900 block of Indian River Road to Heaven on Dec. 2, 1995, after a long illness.

He was the son of the late Henry and Lillie White and was also preceded in death by two sisters, Alma Overton and Sue Miller, and two brothers, Rufus White and Ted White.

He is survived by two sisters and two brothers, Shirley Thompson of Virginia Beach, Nina Doxey of Brunswick, Va., Wiley White of Virginia Beach and Marvin White of Edenton, N.C. He is also survived by a considerable extended family and a host of valuable friends.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Parkway Temple, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Ernest Trueblood. Burial will be in Willow Wood Cemetery, Virginia Beach. The family will be at the funeral home from 7:30 to 9 p.m. tonight and at his home at other times. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is handling arrangements.
