Mildred Mansfield Montgomery, 75, died Dec. 3, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mrs. Montgomery was born in Princess Anne County and was the widow of John T.C. Montgomery. She retired as Assistant Registrar for the City of Norfolk in 1983 after 16 years. She was a member of Third Presbyterian Church in Norfolk; past treasurer and member of Suburban Women's Club; Norfolk City Retirees Association; and volunteer at Lake Taylor Hospital.
Survivors include a daughter, Lynda Montgomery-Hartman and son-in-law, John Hartman of Chesapeake; a brother, Ray T. Mansfield of Norfolk; a grandchild, Charles Montgomery Sharpe of Chesapeake; two stepgrandchildren, Sandra A. Hartman of Richmond and Karen H. Brown of Hong Kong; and a stepgreat-granddaughter, Allie Elizabeth Brown of Hong Kong.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Steven V. Cronn. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
