The Vietnam Veterans of America, Tidewater Chapter 48, is grateful to the many students in Hampton Roads who participated in its recent fund-raiser, the Haunted Forest held at Norfolk Botanical Garden. Nearly 150 high-school students volunteered their time as actors/actresses or other supporting roles for this Halloween production, now in its sixth year.
These students each volunteered more than 40 hours over two weekends to produce the event. Without their help, our organization would not be able to continue to support our many worthwhile projects to assist veterans and other community services.
