Nancy Lou Simpson, 71, of the Chesapeake Health Care Center on Kingsborough Road, died Dec. 1, 1995, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
Mrs. Simpson, the widow of Willie Lee Simpson, was a housewife. She was a native of Warrenton, N.C., and a member of Lovely Hill Baptist Church, Warrenton.
Survivors include five daughters, Ella L. Mack of Camden, N.C., Ethel M. Williams, Teretha Simpson, Mary F. Jones, and Nancy D. Terrell; three sons, Mack Williams of Farmsville, Va., Willie Lee Simpson of Philadelphia, Pa., James A. Simpson of Norfolk; four sisters, Rebecca Hall, Mary Nabors, Virginia Garrett, and Evelyn Rainey of Washington, D.C.; three brothers, Allen, Leroy, and Alex West of Washington, D.C.; and four grandchildren, Onika Hinnant, Cecil W. Hinnant, Jamellia Simpson, Larry R. Terrell, Amber Terrell, Kemporer Jones, James A. Simpson (Jones).
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Hale Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Henry G. Baker. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake.
