State police are looking for two men who, they believe, randomly shot a 1987 Audi that was traveling west on Route 44 near Lynnhaven Parkway about 2:30 a.m. Monday.
State police spokeswoman Tammy Van Dame said a bullet struck the back quarter panel of the car, which was occupied by two women from Hampton and an unidentified man. Police believe four shots were fired, Van Dame said.
No one was injured.
Police describe the two men being sought as white, with long hair and facial hair, traveling in a light-colored Cadillac. Anyone with information is asked to call Trooper M.M. Wells at 424-6800.
