In 1986, the state used comparison of blood samples, not DNA, to

convict Joseph Roger O'Dell III of capital murder. A front-page

headline Monday had errors.

A photo caption in Saturday's MetroNews section incorrectly

identified a sailor on the Robert G. Bradley as Radioman 2nd Class

John Kelly. The sailor pictured was Quartermaster 1st Class Herbert

Pittman.

Deejay Jimmy Ray Dunn was co-host of the morning-drive show on

radio station WKOC-FM. A story in Monday's MetroNews section

indicated he hosted the show alone.

The Garden Club of Norfolk will hold its sixth annual greenery

sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at Christ and St. Luke's Church

at Olney Road and Stockley Gardens in Norfolk. An item in Sunday's

Home & Garden section had a wrong day for the sale.
